happy thanksgiving, everyone!

we were all able to get some good sleep last night - wohoo! today was a lot easier than yesterday. i always forgot how hard the initial recovery is - coming out of sedation, the swelling, everything. we are glad to be past that for now.

we had a great nurse & were lucky to have him for two days in a row. this was a huge blessing! lewis’ numbers have been stable - so great! he is doing so well that we just moved out of the ICU this evening. we are hoping that we will be discharged tomorrow & catch some of our cousin’s thanksgiving dinner. and then fly home early the hen to day. that would be so great!

there was lots of good thanksgiving food that we had in the hospital. we were sad to miss out on getting together with family this year, but we are thankful that we can all three be together. we are also thankful for all of you for continuing to support us during this hard & long season. thank you!! it means more than you’ll ever know.
